Yum Yum Restaurant in Budapest Officially Awarded Thai SELECT Casual Certification

On 13 August 2025, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary, and Mr. Nopakhun Luichant, Minister Counsellor, together with Ms. Tapanee Kruangpradit, Minister Counsellor (Economic) and Director of the Thai Trade Center Budapest, officially presented the Thai SELECT Casual certificate to Mr. Balázs Kovács and Mrs. Sirinapa Akrasaeng Kovács, owners of Yum Yum restaurant in Budapest, Hungary.

The Thai SELECT Casual certification is granted to Thai restaurants offering authentic Thai cuisine with a relaxed and casual dining experience. This includes restaurants that follow proper Thai culinary standards but may have limited service, such as food trucks or restaurants without seating. Yum Yum is the latest restaurant in Budapest, Hungary, to receive this prestigious recognition.
